Did you ever think why do pets get abandoned?Or how many get abandoned?Maybe you have thought about it and if you haven’t you're about to find out .Well i've got some facts for you.
There have been animals like dogs and cats who escaped from their owners house or the person gave up on them, you may know that in the past few years many pets have been abandoned like in 2013 there were about 7,239 abandoned dogs that were abandoned by their owners that is according to the website I saw.Other than that the much sadder thing is that since they can’t find a house the shelter would kill them or a shelter would take them in but their been about 2.7 pets died because they were abandoned that is according to the website I saw.
The question were all asking or might be asking why would someone abandon something so cute well they would that's their only choice they have or that someone has allergies to the dog's fur but what they don't know if they really want to keep the dog ,and they love the dog well there's a way you can treat your allergies without abandoning your dog . But some dogs or cats or any animal in general dont evem make it out of the shelter that would be becasue it would be scared or unfreindly and some potential adopters pass them by.In japan since they had so many abondend animals the minister was thinking to implat microchips into all pet mandatory.Which in ways is good and bad thing because tracking down and finding owners is time consuming and expensive. But if their owners new that they would be held accoutable then they might think twice before abondending their pets.Pets abondentment happen in so many places like Italy , China , Australia and other places around the world it mostly happened around the 2005 till 2015 now in 2016 we dont have as much pet abondentmenat as we do now in 2016.
According to Michael Pollan he is a journalist , a teen activist ,and a professor at journalism at the UC Berkeley graduate school of journalism. He once said “ This for many people is what is most offensive about hunting—to some, disgusting: that it encourages, or allows, us not only to kill but to take a certain pleasure in killing. It's not as though the rest of us don't countenance the killing of tens of millions of animals every year. Yet for some reason we feel more comfortable with the mechanical killing practiced, out of view and without emotion by industrial agriculture.” That means we feel so comfortable with killing them that we don't even think about how they feel we just put what we want first and we don’t even bother seeing it from their perspective and think about how they feel.
If you haven’t noticed their situation is pretty tough and if you didn’t well you're just blind but if you did then you can do something about it and you can start warning people about it , you can tell them to start reading this before they buy a pet.
